Set yourself SMART learning objectives:

  • Specific >> Define what the training need is and what results are expected from the course
  • Measurable >> Identify how the training will improve the current situation and how this will be measured after the course.
  • Agreed >> Training should be agreed by both the employer and the employee
  • Realistic >> The outcome of the training must be realistic and the training should be relevant to the employee’s position.
  • Timebound >> Set a time limit for the training to have taken place and its results assessed.
